Applicants who need a visa to come to Italy should apply to Isodarco by Monday, October 6th, 2025, indicating in their application to which Italian Consulate they intend to use, and apply for the visa immediately after being admitted to the course. Many Italian Consulates are reluctant to grant visas for a course that lasts only one week and therefore applicants must provide the Italian Consular Authorities with evidence of their professional qualifications and their specific professional interest in the topic of the course, and convince them that their only reason to come to Italy is to attend the Isodarco course. Isodarco, as an NGO, cannot influence the decisions of the Italian Consular Authorities. Applicants who do not need a visa should apply by Monday, November 3rd, 2025.
Participants in Isodarco courses must respect all Italian laws and regulations, including those relating to the world health situation.
The Organizing Committee will examine applications using the information submitted. All applicants will be informed of the Committee’s decision as soon as possible and before November 14th, 2025 (those who need a visa before October 17th).
Participants are requested to arrive at Andalo any time on Sunday, January 11th, 2026, and leave in the morning of Sunday, January 18th, 2026. The course ends on Saturday at lunch time.
Participants are requested to contribute 500.00 Euros. A reduced contribution of € 300.00 can be applied to students born in 1997 or later and to participants from countries experiencing foreign currency issues. If you wish to be considered for the reduced contribution, you must explain in your application why you qualify for it. The contribution supports participation in the course, including room and full board, at Andalo for the entire duration. Participants will be housed in double or triple rooms at Hotel Gruppo Brenta or nearby hotels or residences. If requested and available, the contribution for single-room accommodation will be 900.00 Euros. If single rooms are not available, applicants will be informed that they can be hosted only in a double room and asked if they agree to this accommodation. You cannot request single-room accommodation and reduced contribution. Participants wishing to share a double room will be requested to contribute € 550.00 each, if we can accommodate their request.
A limited number of family members can be accommodated at the Hotel Gruppo Brenta or nearby. The contribution for room and board for each person is 550.00 Euros for the entire period. Given the limited number of places for families, each request will be examined individually. Participants wishing to bring their families should submit their applications as early as possible.
The school has no funds to help participants meet travel expenses.
The Course will be held at Hotel Gruppo Brenta, via Strigole 1, 38010 Andalo (Trento), Italy. Tel. (+39) 0461 585813.
Participants wishing to submit a paper for seminar consideration should enclose a short abstract of their proposed contribution in their application. The Director of the School will reserve some limited time for seminars considered particularly relevant to the course program.
